After an amazing day at THE LION KING Brisbane season launch announcement, members of our Australian cast felt so elated they decided to sing the ‘Circle of Life’ prior to take off on their flight back to Sydney!
Folks, I just found out KC & The Sunshine Band is near!!!
I have to tell you, back in the 1990’s I saw them 3 times – I was fortunate enough to live in the Raleigh area, and as I understand it, none other than Harry Wayne Casey (K.C.) lives or lived in a nearby town…hence, the reason I got to see him locally so many times. What energy and charisma! My God, it’s the best concert I’ve seen in my life, and I’ve seen over 30. The horn section is worth the prices of admission alone, but the backup singers still “got it” after all these decades!!!
~GO NOW and personally witness music history~
Be sure to call venue to confirm schedule before traveling long distances.
Someone I follow on Twitter mentioned this movie as a great view – “Babakiueria” is about racial role reversal. It’s described as a “1986 Australian satirical film on relations between Indigenous Australians and Australians of European descent.”
Oooh, that could be sticky. But just watch what happens…
